Immaculate Demise (Orichalcum Daiklave – Artifact ***)

The second weapon wielded by Mighty Orr in the Primordial War, Immaculate Demise, it is said, was forged by the hand of the Unconquered Sun himself and passed to Mighty Orr in a shaft of golden sunlight during his battle against one of the Primordials.  It is a gladius-style daiklave of pure orichalcum, wreathed with lightning and eager for battle.  Immaculate Demise has a single Hearthstone socket.

Evocations of Immaculate Demise

A Solar who attunes to Immaculate Demise finds she is able to parry more efficiently and effectively.  Whenever the attuned user activates Dipping Swallow Defense, its mote cost is reduced by one and the Initiative benefit is increased by one.

Immaculate Demise is eager to be wielded, and shares this eagerness with any other weapons the Solar might bear.  Activating this Evocation allows the wielder to reflexively draw/ready any number of weapons, to a maximum of one per hand.  Note that the wielder does NOT have to ready Immaculate Demise with this action.

With a flourish, Immaculate Demise interposes itself between its wielder and a single instance of environmental damage, no matter how absurd that might be.  This Evocation allows the wielder to apply her Parry Defense against a single interval of an environmental hazard; the hazard’s Difficulty is applied against the Parry Defense.  If the Difficulty is greater, the environmental hazard takes full effect.

Immaculate Demise flashes with electricity, seeking the heart of its opponent.  This Evocation allows the wielder to gain Double 9s on the attack roll.  If used with Excellent Strike, it instead grants Double 8s.
